AI policy

This page explains how artificial intelligence (AI) is used in the guides on Clash of Clans Tips. AI is one of our tools, but a person checks, tests and rewrites every guide before it is published.

Where AI helps

We use Claude, an AI tool from Anthropic, for parts of the preparation: collecting background on a troop, building or game update, suggesting the structure of a guide and writing a rough first draft. That saves time on routine work and helps make sure a guide covers what players need, such as which Town Hall level a strategy suits.

An AI draft is a starting point only. We never publish text exactly as the tool produced it.

What the editor checks

The editor takes over once a draft exists, and that is where most of the work happens. The editor:

  • checks troop and building stats, levels, costs and upgrade times against the current version of the game
  • tests attack strategies and base layouts in real battles where possible
  • compares advice with what experienced players and clans report
  • removes claims that cannot be confirmed and updates anything changed by a balance update
  • rewrites the guide so it is clear and easy to follow

AI tools can get numbers wrong, mix up game versions or describe troops and features that have changed. That is why no AI text is published without this review.

What AI does not do

  • AI does not decide which strategies or layouts we recommend.
  • AI does not play the game or test strategies for us.
  • We do not publish AI-made images that claim to show real game screens or real players.
  • AI does not answer messages from readers.

Responsibility

The editor and the website’s owner are responsible for everything published on Clash of Clans Tips, whether or not an AI tool helped with the draft. If you find an error, please let us know.

Your information

We do not enter readers’ personal information into AI tools. Messages you send us are handled as described in our privacy policy.

Questions
